Door County Today (October 5, 2023) – The Alpine Resort is excited to announce the kick-off to its new tasting classes starting October 9 at Burton’s on the Green located at the Alpine Golf Course Clubhouse.
Door County Pulse (September 27, 2023) – Alpine Resort will host a full music lineup Pumpkin Patch weekend. Big Mouth & The Power Tool Horns start the weekend Oct. 6. This 5-piece horn section plays funk, soul and rock ‘n’ roll. The following evening, Oct. 7, Conscious Pilot takes the stage, playing all the classic hits. Finishing the weekend Oct. 8, Vintage Groove, playing songs from the ‘60s to the ‘90s.
Door County Today (September 21, 2023) – The Alpine Resort is excited to announce its new Alpine merchandise line to launch in Spring 2024 which will feature a Spring/Summer apparel line and a Fall/Winter line later in the year. The Alpine plans to initially develop its clothing line followed by other products and accessories that will be available for purchase at the Alpine Resort Property, select retailers and online.
Door County Today (September 7, 2023) – Cathy Grier and the Troublemakers will be performing blues and grooves under the Alpine tent as part of its live music series with Concerts in the Tent on Wednesday, September 13 from 6-9pm. Joining Cathy Grier’s band will be Hans Christian on cello and bass, Mike Fordney on steel guitar, and many more special guest artists.
Door County Pulse (August 30, 2023) – Alpine Resort will host a full music lineup Labor Day weekend: Big Mouth & The Power Tool Horns on Sept. 1, Dirty Deuce on Sept. 2 and SuperFly on Sept. 3. All concerts are free and open to the public. No carry-ins are allowed. Showtimes are 5-9 pm in the waterfront tent at 7715 Alpine Road in Egg Harbor.
Door County Today (June 28, 2023) – Legendary pianist David Hazeltine and world-renowned bassist Billy Peterson will play a very special one-time performance in Burton’s on the Bay dining room on Thursday, August 3 from 6-9pm.
Door County Pulse (June 22, 2023) – Alpine Resort is hosting Zenshin Daiko – an award-winning, 10-piece children’s Taiko group from Maui, Hawaii – for a series of performances in Door County. The 10 performers are 13-15 years old and play their handcrafted Taiko drums in the revered style of Taiko: a rhythmic, artistic flow of percussion and dance.
Door County Today (June 14, 2023) – Alpine Resort will be hosting Zenshin Daiko, an award-winning 10-piece children’s Taiko group from Maui, Hawaii, June 23-28, for a series of performances in Door County.
Door County, Wis. WLUK (May 31, 2023) - Door County received national publicity over Memorial Day weekend after photos and videos of popular guests went viral on social media. Several Green Bay Packers players and Olympic athlete Simone Biles enjoyed their stay in Egg Harbor.
Door County Pulse (May 25, 2023) - Alpine Resort kicks off its live-music season Memorial Day weekend with Bacchus Lotus on May 27 and Whiskey Ditch on May 28 playing in its outdoor, waterfront tent. June starts with All In on June 2 and Dr. Bombay on June 3. Wisconsin’s award-winning, funky blues band The Jimmys will take the stage June 7 with local blues guitarist Cathy Grier opening. The Third Wheels will perform June 9 and The Del Rays on June 10 to round out the weekend.
